All Star Game 2011 -Show some support-

You have a couple of days left to vote our Angels players to this years All-Star Game. Might Maicer Izturis is fifth in the voting. It is real easy to cast your ballot. Saturday 6/11 Signing Recap

I arrived to the Bourjos-Trumbo signing around 6 a.m. It started as a small turnout. I guess of the overcast people didn't arrive until 9. I was impressed on how Metro PCS organized the line. I wish they handle every line like that. Then again I was in front of the line, with my friend Pete. I didn't see people taking cuts or having issues in line. Ritmo 98.3 was on hand playing music and giving away Angel tickets. Bourjos arrived early. Trumbo arrived a little late. But was expected since he did have a previous signing at the OC Dugout. Trumbo did get there late for that event and everyone figured he would not make it to Metro PCS in time or at all. But Trumbo is a man of his word. He made a lot of people happy, doing two signings in one day. I got my autograph and off to the races to make it to another signing.

I figured out the time and distance I wouldn't make it to the OC Dugout for Trevor Bell. I went for Hank Conger at 300 Anaheim bowling alley. There was no wait to get his autograph. Which makes this fun, you had a chance to talk to him and take a couple of pictures. Which is relaxing, not being rush out of the store. I did talk to management, and they said they plan to have more signings. This will be fun place to have a event. The day was long but had a great time meeting up with old friends. Hope to see them again on the next signing.

Mark Trumbo signing conflict

-WANTED-

I did find out as of Wednesday 12:00 p.m. Metro PCS is having a Mark Trumbo. He is pulling double duty. First he is signing at OC Dugout from 9-11, along with Trevor Bell. (But Bell is scheduled to start signing from 11:00-1.) Then Mark Trumbo is schedule to be at Metro PCS at 11:30-1, with Peter Bourjos. It seems you got to choose your line wisely. And cross your fingers and hope Trumbo will make it in time for both of these events. Good luck.

Leeann Tweeden and Jocelyn Pierce

I know everyone has seen those commercials of the stadium giveaways with Billy Mack and Leeann Tweeden. Also Angels Weekly have Jocelyn Pierce, but as of lately is seen less of. I think this is a great move by the Angels. I know Leeann and Jocelyn are great eye candy, but its great to see a female representing the Angels. With an addition of a female will spice up the broadcasting staff. She could have a minor role of pre or post game interviews and highlights. But to fill these shoes will be hard. First she needs to be an Angels fan. Second she has to know the game, not to be a genius but enough to add to the commentary. I would like to hear other opinoins on this topic. Trumbo-Bourjos signing 6/11

Metro PCS is hosting Peter Bourjos and Mark Trumbo Saturday June 11. But Trumbo is booked to be at the OC Dugout in Anaheim. I will look into this. Its not the first time something like this happened. Last year something similar happened and the player was replace with someone else. When I find out more information I will post it up. Update on the First Pitch lineup

On my pervious post, I didnt have any information on Saturday 6/11. This morning I was able to find out that John Werhas will throw the first pitch. He played as the Angels third baseman in 1967.
