Angels Holiday Photo Opp

 From December 1st & 2nd the Angels and AM830 will host there holiday photo on the field. A donation of a new, unwrapped toy valued at least $10, you will be able to take a picture down on the field and meet Santa. Also with the donation you will receive a coupon for a discount for the team store and a holiday photo frame. The toys collected will benefit Angels Baseball Foundation Children's Holiday Party at the ESPN Zone. Here are the times and dates-

Angels Groundskeepers Food Drive

 Its that time of year again. Angels groundkeepers will host a canned food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.  Here is a list of fun events and time-

$25 for 15 min. to shag fly balls

Angels Can Food Drive

 The Angels with Wells Fargo are hosting a can food drive. It will take place at Angels Stadium from August 2-4th. On August 3rd the "Angels Wives" will collect cans near the Home Plate Gate. All donations will receive a team photo. Donations of 10 cans will receive (2) tickets to a upcoming game. Also be entered to win autograph items. All this will benefit the Second Harvest Food bank of Orange County

Jack FM Angels Giveaway

Jack FM will be hosting " It's a Trout 'n Tix Stick Up" at Angels Stadium. The first 150 in the parking lot on Sunday 8/4 at 8am to place their sticker will receive tickets for an Angels game. The dates for those tickets are for 8/5, 8/6, 8/7. There will be other giveaways.

Adam Kennedy Appearance

2nd Chance- C.J. Wilson Bobblehead

 This Saturday July 6th,  Inland Empire 66ers (Angels Single "A" Minor team) will have the giveaway of the C.J. Wilson Bobblehead. Mystery Grab Bag

  The Angels Wives along with the Special Olympics of Southern California, are hosting the Gold Ball Mystery Grab Bag event at Angels Stadium. This event is on Saturday, June 1st. The Mystery Bag will sell for $40, from 5p.m. through the 2nd inning. There is a limit of three bags per person. Each bag contains a autograph baseball from a current player or coach. Raffle tickets will also be sold for game used Angel items.
  There are twelve baseball wrapped in gold in these bags. The winners gets four tickets for a home game and a meet and greet with a player during batting practice. The proceeds will go to the Angels Baseball Foundation and the Special Olympics.

Memorabilia Sale Recap

 I attended the Memorabilia Sale at Angels Stadium and was impressed on how well it was set up. The season ticket holders went first. Which I thought all the good items will be gone when it was open to the public. But I was wrong. It was limited to three items, which made things fair for everyone. It was smaller than the yard sale event they had in the previous years, but still had great bargains.
 When it was my chance, I went to the autographed baseballs. They had cases of baseballs of past players, like Vernon Wells, Brandon Wood, Hisanori Takahashi. There was a good amount of jerseys, and batting helmets to look through. What really caught my eye was autograph 8x10's. Which I picked up a couple. They had other clearance items from the team store.
 I paid for my items and returned to take photos for this blog. The Angels staff saw that there wasn't a line anymore, so they lifted the three item rule. Which put many people at ease. This was a great event and hope they have these every year.

C.J. Wilson Head & Shoulders #whiff event

  I had a chance to go to the Head & Shoulders batting cages. This took place at The Grove in Los Angeles. I arrived early to avoid traffic. To my surprise C.J. Wilson and Troy Polamalu were already there. They were doing television and radio interviews. I got information from Justin and Travis that Josh Hamilton was also schedule to be at this event. It was a small turnout. But one of the rare opportunities to get an autographs from all the players.
  Head & Shoulders is holding a contest amongst players. To help C.J. Wilson, you must "#angels #whiff " on Twitter. And the most #'s at the end of every month, Head & Shoulders will donate $10,000 to the RBI charity. Also they will donate money for every strikeout Wilson does.
   This is a good start for the season. I never thought, I can get Wilson and Hamilton at the same time. And to add a Super Bowl Champ Troy Polamalu! Once again I would thank Justin and Travis for their help. Enjoy the photos that I took.

C.J. Wilson Appearance

 Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson will be at the Grove in Los Angeles. This will happen in the morning of  Friday 3/29. I will post the exact time, when I find out. There will be "pop up" batting cages. Wilson will represent Head and Shoulders there. He will have a "game", that every whiff a $10 donation will be given to the Angels Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) league charity.

Bourjos & Dipoti Signing

   Angels General Manager Jerry Dipoto and outfielder Peter Bourjos are scheduled for a signing at O.C. Dugout on April 13. Dipoto prices are $10 per autograph, but all proceeds will go to charity. As for Bourjos the prices are $20 for small and $30 for large. I will have a reminder close to the date.
