Recap of the Torii Hunter signing

This was a good signing. I arrived somewhat early. Due to being lost. But had a good place in line. It was a good vibe, meeting old friends, and meeting new friends. Mr. Hunter arrived early and move the line at a good pace. I'm not sure, but I think the people that didn't have wristbands had a good chance to get an autograph. Torii Hunter is a class act. He would ask where to sign your item. And took his time signing. Metro PCS did control the line, but could have been a little more organized. A friend of mine was one of the first ones in line but somehow got pushed back. But beyond that it was a great signing. I will post future Angels signings when I get the information. Much thanks to Eddie, Art, Pete, and Doug for making the wait a fun time! Thanks again.

Mark Trumbo signing update!

Mark Trumbo
Just added to the Mark Trumbo signing June 11, is Trevor Bell. And Bell's autograph is free! I passed OC Dugout today and they said you don't need to purchase anything for his auto. But Trumbo is still $20 for small and $30 for large. You still cant beat that. Once again here is the info...

Mothers Day Game/ Bengie Molina signing

Former Angels catcher Bengie Molina #1
I surprised my wife with tickets to an Angels game for Mothers Day. We arrived early and got some autographs. I got Scott Downs and Fernando Rodney's autograph. I went to stand in line for the Bengie Molina signing. At first it looks disorganized but the Angels staff have it down. They limit it to 100. Which is good since a game is still being played. The staff pass wristbands with numbers and are told to be back after the 2nd inning. Getting back in line you are placed by your number. Well organized. I was happy to get Molina's autograph and seeing him back in Angel red. I also got a quick autograph from Tim Salmon. I was caught off guard, but he signed my son's hat.
When we got back to our seats. I was blown away on how many people were in attendance. That put a smile to my face seeing all that Angel Pride out there. Hearing the crowd roar when the Rally Monkey came out. You felt the electricity. I think the players felt it also. They made an amazing comeback. And Mike Scioscia getting his 1000th win, made this game very special. I'm glad of being apart of it.
I would like to wish all the Mothers and Grandma's out there a Happy Mothers Day. Thank you.
A great turnout

Erik Aybar signing bust....

I attended the Erick Aybar signing at Living Spaces in Irvine. I arrived around 6. To my surprise I was the third car in the parking lot. Since this event started at 10, I assumed that a huge surge of people to show up at one time. That never really happened. There was 60 people in line. The nice people at Living Spaces opened up early to let everyone in. They had  fresh brewed coffee and  cookies. A nice treat and felt welcome to be there. Around 11....we received the bad news that Mr. Aybar cancelled due to a family emergency. The employees of Living Spaces apologized and took everyone's name to get priority in line. They were not sure if or when he might rescheduled. I will make a post, if I find any information on a reschedule.

Cinco De Mayo with AM 830

I attended the AM 830 Cinco De Mayo party at the Slidebar in beautiful Downtown Fullerton. It was a good turnout for being Happy Hour. I was greeted by the Angel Strikeforce girls and a wheel to spin for a chance to win prizes. Also some tequila girls were on hand giving away t-shirts. The Slidebar had great food, strong drinks and great tequila specials. AM 830 had a raffle for V.I.P. seats to a Angel game. I didn't win.  But came out with t-shirts, hats, and some Angel tickets. Almost everyone scored on tickets that afternoon. I must go back to the Slidebar on a weekend or after a Angel game. They said if you show your ticket stub of an Angel game of that night, first drink is only a BUCK! You can't beat that. Had a good buzz and a good time. Thanks AM 830.
